The Brazilian butt lift is generally performed under general anesthesia. It takes on average two to three hours to accomplish.

Patients are first placed on their backs to perform the liposuction in the desired areas.

Then the patient is carefully positioned in the prone position (stomach on the operative table with the buttocks and back facing upward) where once again liposuction is performed in the lower back & upper thighs.

After all the fat is harvested, it is carefully processed in a centrifuge where only the healthy fat and stem cells are isolated and prepared for injection.
