Dra. Elia Sentine

Doctor Elia Sentine is a renowned Honduran plastic and reconstructive surgeon best known for her natural looking results and amazing patient-doctor relationship. She obtained her medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Honduras and latter completed her General Surgery residency program with the same university. She continued her studies in the prestigious Instituto Jalisciense de Cirugia Plastica “José Guerrerosantos” where she obtained her plastic surgery degree.

After her plastic surgery residency program, Doctor Sentine became a fellow under the renowned plastic surgeon, Doctor Lázaro Cardenas Camarena. During this time she perfected her skills in body contouring, face surgery, breast surgery, feminization procedures and non-surgical treatments.

Doctor Elia Sentine moved to Italy after marrying Doctor Marco Galati. She obtained her Italian medical degree with the Università degli Studi di Milano and continues to practice in both Italy and Honduras.

Doctor Sentine takes great pride in being an active member of Operation Smile International and Operation Smile Honduras. She has taken part in numerous missions to treat patients with cleft lip and palate since she was a resident and continues to be an active volunteer.

Doctor Elia Sentine is an international member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, a member of FILACP (Federación Ibero-latinoamericana de Cirugía Plástica), a member of AHCP (Asociació Hondureña de Cirugía Plástica) and a member of AICPE (Asociazione Italiana di Chirurgia Plastica Estetica).

Doctor Marco Galati is an italian specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He obtained his medical degree with full votes with Università degli Studi di Parma. He obtained his specialty in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery with 50/50 votes with the Università degli Studi di Parma in the Azienda Ospidaliero-Universitaria di Parma, Centro Grandi Ustioni. After his residency program in Italy he decided to get his second degree in plastic surgery at the prestigious Instituto Jalisciense de Cirugía Plástica directed by the famous professor José Guerrerosantos. There, he mastered his skills in aesthetic surgery, breast reconstruction, hand surgery and cleft lip and palate reconstruction.

After his return to Italy, Doctor Galati became an assistant plastic surgeon in Prof. Veronesi’s European Institute of Oncology where he performed numerous procedures in breast reconstruction and tumor resection.
