Liposuction, also known as Lipoaspiration or Liposculpture, removes excess fat from various body areas to enhance body contour. It’s not a solution for obesity but targets localized fat deposits. After liposuction surgery, expect fatigue, especially with larger procedures. Rest for 1-7 days depending on treatment extent. Gradually resume walking to reduce swelling and prevent leg clots. Avoid prolonged standing.

Swelling and pain diminish within days. Leg or ankle liposuction may cause swelling for weeks. Take painkillers as needed. Minor bleeding or fluid leakage is normal.

We may prescribe antibiotics or thromboembolism prevention if necessary. Sutures removed in 5-10 days. Wear prescribed girdle or stockings.

Expect bruising and altered skin sensitivity. Return to work varies, typically 24-72 hours, but wait until bruises fade. Final results visible in weeks, swelling may take months to subside.
